No money, no item

Hi, I bought some modules from seller .They sent me the goods, but when I took them to my car mechanic, they turned out to be incorrect parts, as they had 4 fixing points instead of 3 fixing points. Seller confirmed that they made a mistake and asked for returning the goods and promised to replace them. I was hoping to take the goods to a post office and send them, but a postman turned up and collected the goods. The collection was ordered by Seller.
When I ask Seller if they have received the goods and if the are sending the replacement they ask for the postal reference number. I haven’t got the number, because the person who orders the collection has the entire information.
So, I haven’t got the confirmation about the returned goods, I haven’t got the correct goods and I haven’t got the money. Could eBay have a look at this case and advise whether the correct goods should be sent, or the money returned please?

eBay's 30-day MBG is dependant upon you opening a Case and following their instructions. They won't usually help without this.

If you can find them, gather proof that the good were collected plus the messaging (if done outside eBay). Open an eBay Chat, upload the photos, and ask them to help as a courtesy.
