Whilst looking for an item on Ebay, I saw an advertisement, for the item I had been searching. This advert showed the item, at a lower price than I had seen it for. But when I opened the advertisement, it showed a listing at a higher price?
All over eBay. Advertise a tack for bottom dollar but use another picture. Not until you click on the options do you find the true cost. Another pain is choose nearest or lowest price first and most of the listings disappear. The false pricing brings listings right up when you search by price and you have to wade through pages of dross
It could be that someone bid recently and the ad figure hadn't been updated but I think it's more likely that the ad price doesn't have VAT. 26.18*1.2=31.41
