Listing price is different to price when trying to buy it

Why is a sellar listing a item for a price and when you go to the buy it now the price increases? 

eBay item number: 364656566886

A welding mask for 14.99 with free postage yet when i click buy it now it jumps to £17.99

Any ideas. Have tried reporting to ebay but the AI Bot just rejects it.

although the item is located in UK the seller is registered in China so there's VAT to pay/.

Look up uk law on bait and switch, It seems to happen a lot.

The seller hasn't charged you any extra ,Ebay has ,inline with current UK laws (many many other posts about it).

Sadly ,they often don't mention anything until AFTER you have bought.
