Item not arrived

You can open a case for item not received on day after the item's last estimated date for delivery.  Items may well be delayed at this busy time of year.

No need to message the seller anymore just proceed this way:

Go right of the item purchased,  and from More Actions select....  I Have Not Received My Item.

If you are not fully refunded within 3 days,  you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case,  and eBay will step in and force the refund.

Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give,  and do not forget to escalate.

Item not arrived

When you open a case 3 full days need to lapse, I'd presume Christmas will add a day to this then the option to escalate, asl eBay to step in  will appear.

Item not arrived

When you placed the order you didn't buy from an overseas-based seller, did you?  When buying items from sellers in distant locations, such as China for example, it can often take considerably longer for the item to arrive than it would have done had you ordered the item from a seller based in the United Kingdom, especially if it's a high value item and ends up getting stuck in Customs with a charge to pay before it can be released and posted on to you.  In light of this I wouldn't entertain buying items intended as Christmas presents from overseas sellers with less than a month to go to Christmas.

Whatever the case with regards to the seller's location, if you still haven't received the item after eBay's latest estimated date of delivery follow the advice that @tressygirl gave you in post number 2 of this thread.  If you do have to escalate the case to eBay then you will more than likely receive a total refund of the money that you paid to the seller for the item, as eBay will force the refund for you in the event that the seller is being uncooperative and/or is just ignoring any messages that you sent via the case in an attempt to resolve the problem.
