Somebody PLEASE HELP ME. The advertisement said
iPHONE 16 PRO MAX 1 TB BLACK TITANIUM - BRAND NEW, UNDER WARRANTY, UNLOCKED
Because of my work, I could be away for up to three months at a time. Last February, I had some time so, I bid for and won what I thought was a GENUINE Apple iPhone Pro Max 1 TB. Seller asked me to pay extra so, I could receive it the next day and I did. However, 4 days on, I still did not receive it. So, Seller arranged for the Order to be re-directed to a collection centre where my nephew collected it. I spared myself the expense of flying home, just to collect my phone. I finally come home last Easter and collected my phone still in the package Seller sent it unopened from my nephew just last week. As with previous iPhone, I placed it next to the old one expecting it to transfer everything over. Nothing!
Finally, this morning, I took it to the Apple Store in London and they told me that although the Serial number on the phone says the phone has limited warranty, this is not unusual for fakes. My knees literally buckled from under me and I fell down in the middle of the store. You see, I paid £1077.00 in total.
I did ask the Seller why she is selling, she said it was a present. She tried it but preferred he Android phone. It sounded plausible. THIS IS A LOT OF MONEY FOR ME. What are my options?

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt. If they are not, a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, to return the item for a full refund.
If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund. You can try your payment provider for help with your refund now.
If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this, then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps, if you wish to take this further.

I have been happily shopping in eBay for some many years. Suddenly, since February "Mercury went into Retrograde" for me. Maybe time to take a step back from eBay.

Definitely try your credit or debit card for a possible charge back. Not sure what the time limits are but worth a phone call be cause you haven't received what you paid for. I hope you get something back.
