I can no longer add a listing to my wish list - at one point there was a drop-down menu to select that list, as opposed to the watch list, but it no longer appears. Ebay's idiot AI chat simply explains how to add to the watch list, ignoring the word 'wish'.
Is the wish list being eliminated, or do I have some sort of browser issue?

It's moved. Go to your Watch list and click on the menu arrow next to "My eBay Watch List", top left of page, and you'll see Wish list as an option in the dropdown menu.

Thanks - but the problem is in adding an item to the Wish List, from an item detail page, rather than viewing the existing list.

If you look at an item on a PC it says "add to list" with a drop down.A little below price and postage details.
Wish list is at top on the drop down.
No idea about the app though.

Yes, that's the way it used to work - Windows PC, Firefox browser (tried Chrome as well). But now the button is labeled 'Add to Watchlist', and no longer has a drop-down menu to select the Wish List. Clicking it simply adds the item to the Watch List.

Aah,i didn't realise you were in the US.
I'm guessing it's different there.
You might find a solution if you post on the US boards as you are currently on the UK one's.
All the best.

Yes, I just realized that. But I did go to ebay.co.uk, brought up an item detail, and I see the same button - no sign of an option for Wish List.

The screenshot you posted was for an item listed in the US.
Do you get the same if you put a UK item in to your watch list ?.
If it's the same i'm guessing that Ebay US has either removed the option, hidden it or it's just another glitch.

Yes - this is from the UK site, item 257495944754. It does seem like a system issue, deliberate or not.

For me i get a little arrow to the right (as above).

I don't know why wish list appears twice though.

Interesting - that's the way it used to appear for me, until a few days ago. The change might be related to my status as a US user, even if on the UK site, or some browser-related issue (but I tried two browsers). Anyway, thanks for the help.

I'm a UK registered user, using ebay.co.uk, in the UK; using 3 browsers on a Windows PC. I definitely don't have the drop down arrow on Add to Watchlist now - and I don't remember it being there a week or month ago!
On the watch list page, I don't seem to have a wish list, although I did have a custom list which I haven't used in years and had forgotten existed - (with no items in).

Interesting. It's been there on my US Ebay screens until recently, and I think on UK Ebay as well - I go there sometimes. I suspect bugs in Ebay's programming.
On my Watch List page, a drop-down allows selecting standard lists to view: 'Gift Ideas', 'Interested', 'Research' and 'Wish List'. You can also, apparently, add custom lists. I only have entries saved in the Watch and Wish lists.
But as it stands, even though the other lists appear on the Watch List screen, there seems no way to add items to them - surely not an intentional design.

Logged in (firefox) i can see the little arrow but logged out i see "add to watch list" with a little heart in front of that.If i click on add to watch list it asks me to sign in.

That may be a clue - you get the arrow to select an alternate list, for adding an item, only when logged in. But I'm definitely logged in - ID appears on the screen, and I can access my Watch List. Possibly there's a flaw in Ebay's recognition of my logged-in status. That said, clicking the button doesn't prompt me to log in, but simply adds the item to the Watch List.

Here's another odd thing.
I just selected "add to wishlist" and a tick came up next to my selection but nowhere can i find my wish list !.

Should be on the Watchlist page. Click the blue arrow.
