why is ebay allowing sellers to list items at a fixed price then when go to buy the price rises

i have noticed a lot, that ebay are allowing companies to sell items supposedly at fixed prices, but when you go and piick your size and colour the price rises by at least £2.

now some will say that it is because of the size you are buying, but no, because if you go through all the sizes and colours it is the same there is a £2 price difference

now i don't know about you, but when i see a buy it now price, i expect it to be at that price. i do not expect there to be a £2 price increase.

where is the trust in sellers who do this.

where is the trust in a company who lets sellers do this.

ebay is no longer a place where buyers can go and get what they want when they want it at the price stated, because there is so much underhanded goings on within the company that lets price gauging go ahead with their blessing

how many people have placed orders and not noticed that the price of the item they have just bought as a buy it now price has increased in such a way that if you were not on your toes you would not notice it

how many people look twice when buying something that is suppose to be at a fixed price.

ebay and these sellers are ripping people off left and right and as a consumer I for one will not let this slide

I will inform everyone to be aware of ebay's underhanded practices

Prices cannot rise from what you see in Search. There may, however, be a range of prices on multi-variation listings. These listings give you various options to choose from, with those options varying in price. Variation listings are very clear. All have to do is open your eyes, read, and choose the correct option from the dropdown menu.

Sounds like a multi variation listing where something should be available at the advertised price.
