sent a broken ps3 back to seller he isnt issuing a refund

bought a ps3 which he said works excellent for me to get it and its broke ive now returned the item he isnt issuing a refund claiming its a different ps3 when that was the only 1 i had

thanks tobiasd4 i cant put the tracking up becase i dont think he accepted the return although he did during messages.i have reciepts that proves ive sent it and hes messaged me saying its another 1 is that proof that he recieved it ?

The only proof of delivery/attempted delivery that ebay accept is through online tracking. If you didn't send it back tracked then ebay can't help you.

thanks papso but i couldnt contact ebay with this virus going on and through the help section it instructed me to send by june which ive done

if you returned the item to the seller tracked and you have those tracking details, i would close the ebay case and reopen it in paypal, enter the tracking number into the case and escalate asap/allowed.
if you did`nt return it tracked, you may as well write the money off, because if you can`t PROVE the return, you won`t win any case.
for future reference if you open a return, ask for and wait for a return label from either the seller or ebay 🙂

Have you actually opened a case, if so what sort? Some information does help as if you have not done things properly any advice given may be completely useless.

Make sure tracking is uploaded to case & as long as it shows attempted/actual delivery escalate to ebay & they will sort refund.
