Purchased some garden furniture from Wido and received goods, which were not as described. Immediately communicated through ebay to seller and we agreed thay they would send me a partial refund, if i kept goods. Then they stopped answering any mails and did not send refund.
This has been going on for several months, with no answers to my mails. Tried to go through ebay customer services, but cannot locate the correct option for this circumstance as goods are now a few months old.
Any help would be appreciated.
You fell for the trick of a seller stringing you along to get you psat the eBay Money Back Guarantee deadline.
You do have 180 days to lodge a claim via PayPal but that means returning at your expense.. And regarding feedback your seller is very good at collecting negative and neutral feedback so I don't think another one will worry him.
At the end of the day I think you may just have to take it on the chin and move on.
My only advice is always check a sellers feedback, ignore the blurb about eBay trusted seller etc and look at the actual ratings.
And if you do have problems with your purchase make full use of the eBay Money Back Guarantee and don't let a seller give you a load of promises or excuses
