receiving an offer on an item i didnt make an offer on?

hi, i have received an offer of £200 on a tv i put in my watch list. i dont recall making an offer nor is there a record of this in my bid/offer section. i have declined it but still am concerned about it. any ideas? cheers, Gary

ebay have introduced a new option where sellers can send out offers to anyone watching their items,

sellers don't get to see the ID's of the people who are sent the offer it is just a blind 'offer'
