paypal holding refund

hi,

had a refund issued by ebay yesterday, but not showing on paypal account, it's a small amount but how long before it's released so i know for future reference ?

Refunds go back to source. If you paid by debit card, it will take up to 7 days to clear into your bank account. If by credit card, it can take up to 30 days to appear on your cc statement (it's dependent on your billing cycle). 

If you paid using your PayPal account, the refund is pretty much instant unless made by e-cheque. If so, e-cheques, like any cheque, take a few days to clear. If this is what has happened, the refund confirmation email you received from Paypal will have supplied full information.

These timeframes are the banking industry norms, by the way, and have nothing to do with Ebay.

Refunds go back to source. If you Paid by Debit Card It will take a few days to Clear the Banking System. If you Paid by Credit Card it won't show up until you receive your Next Monthly Statement.
