Good Evening - I bought a bag of dogfood on 2/1/21 with a delivery time of 5 days as also shown on my order. Then the delivery date changed to 11/1/21. I suspected he was drop shipping and possibly the item was no longer available so I sent a message to him asking when I would receive my item on 12/1/21. Today I looked at my purchase history to find that he was no longer a member of Ebay and the item I bought has changed to the same item but from a different seller. I tried a refund request on Ebay but they would want me to continue to correspond with the seller and to escalate in 3 weeks! Therefore, using advice on here for someone in a similar position, I opened a case with Paypal but they have just sent an email to the seller and my case is not even under review. Usually such cases are dealt with promptly but I am expected to wait nearly a month before escalating. Additionally in the past, requests to Paypal when I contacted them if I had a problem or item not received ,were dealt with promptly. Ditto cases for items not received on Ebay were treated promptly. There also seems to be no way to contact Paypal by phone any more which was how I previously contacted them if I had a problem of any sort with my account. Can any one help with what I do now?
