Hi i need intructions on how to appeal against "unpaid item recorded" closed case. I won 2 auctions from same seller, less than a week apart from each other. seller stated I would get a PAYMENT REMINDER between first auction finishing and second auction finishing, and to just ignore it, which I did, but aprox 2 days after receiving payment reminder and before second auction finished, seller filed an "UNPAID ITEM CASE" with the UNPAID ITEM ASSISTANT within the RESOLUTION CENTRE, between first and second auction finishing.seller did not mention this previously, at first seller stated ebay automatically start this unpaid item case, but contradicted themselves by later stating that it is somethng that seller themself had turned on. if seller can turn it on, then seller can also turn it off when buyers win more than one auction, but seller chose not to do this. I tried to appeal against unpaid item, but becuase case was still open I was unable to apeal. after second auction finished, seller stated they had sent me invoice for both auctions, but when I went to pay, which was day after second auction finished, I couldnt as seller had cancelled the order, I wrote to seller that I am not happy because I went to pay but couldnt because you cancelled the order, seller not responding to messages and has now relisted items that I won and tried to pay for. I am unable to leave negative feedback for these auctions, i assume because seller cancelled the order. I have spent several hours looking on ebay for how to appeal aginst this, one page said to go to "purchase history", select "see case details", select "send us an appeal", fill in details and select "submit" but , these instructions dont work. somewhere else there was an "apeal decision" box to click on, but when I did the items were not listed on the next page and when I typed in item details it didnt work, I ve waisted even more hours going round and round in circles getting nowhwere, please help, how do I contact someone at ebay for them to look into this?
you will get more help if you break up the solid block of 360+ words in to paragraphs.
Have you read through this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/resolving-issues-sellers/appealing-unpaid-item?id=4357&st=12&pos=...
Seller does not understand what he is doing and basically someone at ebay needs to look at messages. Of course the simple answer would have been to pay before the unpaid case close.
Unpaid Assistant is automated and is set up by the seller and unless payment is received within 4 days will automatically close giving you an unpaid strike.
Once you have a strike, then NO feedback can be left.
