Why does my watch list claim to be full when it isn't?

For several months now, when using my PC, if I want to watch an item, eBay claims that my Watch List is full, even though it isn't. If I want to add an item to my Watch List, I have to open the eBay App on my phone and select the item from the Recently Viewed list. The item is then in my Watch List. Has anybody else had this problem and can it be cured?

Not one I've personally come across, or seen anyone else mention. 

All I can suggest is that you try the usual: Log out, clear your History etc, reboot your device, and log back in. 

If that doesn't work, try a different browser. Not IE, as it's no longer compatible with any website, having been retired by Microsoft some time ago.  I use Firefox with no problems, my partner uses Edge.

If still no joy, what OS are you using...?  If it's an old one, it may need replacing.

I am using the latest version of Firefox in Windows 10.
