When i ask for an invoice ebay keeps sending the 'ask for invoice' email to me and not the seller =(

Hi,

I hope someone can help: everytime i ask for an invoice, ebay sends ME the 'buyer asked for invoice' email instead of the seller. 

I've tried pushing the 'send invoice' button in the message to see what happens but it just gives me the 'oops something went wrong' error message. I'm kind of sick of having ebay blowing up my inbox with 'you need to pay for this' messages when they can't even send the right thing to the right people. /rant

Anyway, does anyone know what to do/has anyone had this happen before? It's only been the last few weeks but it's getting incredibly annoying, almost as irritating as when ebay says the seller doesn't do combined shipping when they actually do, so you have to send the seller a message seperately instead of just... pressing the request invoice button and having it work =/

Have you ticked the box to send copies to yourself? Do you know whether the seller has received anything as Private sellers are not required to send an invoice and they could just ignore any messages.

Hi, thanks for answering my question.

I have that box ticked, yes, but normally when it sends me a copy it has the subject 'please send me the total amount due' and whatever message i wrote in the box shows up underneath it, because it's sent from me, to the seller.

This time i keep getting 'action needed: send buyer an invoice' messages which just have 'a buyer has committed to these items' and my address underneath, which i'm not meant to get. I also have no idea if the seller is actually getting these messages too, but i suspect not since i've waited a few days with no contact before just giving in and dropping them a message about the invoice.

As for your last question: i need an invoice for combined shipping. Unless you do 'request total' some shops will charge you full shipping on all items and i don't really want to pay £7+ shipping.
