When I search for cars and vans within 25 miles of my address it just comes up with 'page not found'

I'm looking for a van and when I search for car and vehicles within 25 or 50 miles of my address it comes up with ' page not found'

If I put 'van' in the search field it brings up some.  but of course not everyone selling a van will have 'van' in the title

If I put a make and model in the search field it works' but I want to look at all the vans available within my chosen area and it wont do it anymore for some reason. Worked perfectly before, not now will not work

Don't know why it is only happening with you now, this started happening several years ago with quite a lot of people.

The answer is to type the category into the search bar. eg.  Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles

You can then select whatever sub category.

I've just run a search on vehicles within twenty-five miles of my local area, and it worked fine when I tried it.  I then increased the distance to within fifty miles of my local area, and again it worked without any problems.  The only difference was that I didn't just put "car" or "van" in the search bar - I entered the make and model of the vehicle in question as well.  It pulled up quite a few results, with each one saying how many miles away it was, so I'm not sure why it's not working for you when you try to use the feature.  The only other factor that may be causing some difference between whether or not people can or cannot find results when they try to narrow the result down to vehicles wtihin a certain distance from their own addrss is that I'm still using Classic View on my account, as opposed to eBay's new "improved" version.  Perhaps that's got something to do with it?

If you're using an app to try and run a search then try using a laptop or a computer to run a search for the type of vehicle you're looking for, as eBay's app is known to be pretty lame to say the least.

If nothing else works PM me your postcode and some details of the make and model of the vehicle you're trying to find, and I'll see if I can find any results when I search it using my own laptop.  If I find anything that might be suitable I'll PM you the item listing numbers of the vehicles in question so that you can look them up using the Advanced Search option and make a decision as to whether or not you feel they're worth checking out further.
