Suggestion to eBay for Lockdown: Search filtering to exclude "Collection"

Suggestion to eBay for Lockdown: Inprove Search filtering to allow buyers to EXCLUDE "Collection" (only) items from search results.

Many ad hoc sellers list items for sale "free collection only".  This is unattractive for people who are observicing strict social distancing.shielding, even if the item is local. (Maybe ebay can nudge sellers to offer delivery, as a promotion with Hermes, perhaps)

But there is no way to exclude "free collection" these from the search results but leave all the "delivered" options listed--you have to scroll ove very many listings that are irrelevant to what is wanted.

Yes, you can filter on "free postage" but that exludes many listings (ad hoc or commercial) which do make a delivery charge (reasonably, and helpfully for combined postage discounts)

What is needed are changes to the delivery filtering: either an "exclude collection only" or make delivery options a multiple check box which includes Free postage, Delivered (for a fee), Click and Collect (free or paid for), and Free Collection (in which case tick Free postage/delivered to get the most "lockdown friendly" set of items).

Also, for people travelling out on foot in their immediate locality, change "Item location within" filter to have "1 mile" in the dropdown, as that's a more sensible distance for people collecting goods on their daily allowed local exercise

I'm of the opposite opinion.

I would much rather make a direct trip to a seller and not be around anyone else the whole trip.

When i get there i don't have to get close to sellerl and vice versa.

Then i go home.

Having things posted and delivered is too high risk for me,i don't like the idea of sellers going to PO etc to post items, buy packaging etc as they will probably come into near contact much more than i will with a collect item.

I also don't like the thought of all the posties and delivery operatives moving all over the place picking up you don't know what.

The GV released info over 10 days ago giving the heads up on what surfaces etc the virus can live on and for how long.

Too much risk involved for me to consider having anything delivered directly at all.

Every item i have bought goes elsewhere where there are procedures in place to avoid coming into close proximity with anyone and anything unknown.

All items then go into a cold enviroment before being viewed.

GT is thriving whilst others are falling.
