Just lately when serching for items for my car the results come up as usual, when i click on a link to a product and then enter my car details i get the message " This item does not fit ***** "
This happens even if i include my car make and model in the initial search.
At first i thought it may be " one of those things " so i did random searches for items i did not need but still stating my car in the search box.
EVERY result that comes up states the item will not fit my car ! EVEN if the advert says it will !
What the bleep is going on ?
How are people expected to be able to find and buy items if all the results state they will not fit ?
Sellers must be missing out on a lot of sales because of this.
Come on eBay, get your act together and sort this out or, like many of my friends, i will be forced to go to Amazon for my needs.
This issue began just before christmas last year, i'm only just mentioning it as i thought, rather naively it seems, that eBay would have sorted it out before now.
Not a problem I've personally come across, and I've seen no other posts complaining about such. So I suspect the problem may be at your end. Try logging out, clearing your History etc, rebooting your device, and logging back in.
If no joy, what browser are you using...? If IE, its no longer compatible with any website. If it helps, I use Firefox (on a laptop, and I don't use the app).
If still no joy, contact Ebay. They won't see your post as no-one from Ebay comes here. The Community boards are for the sole use of ebayers to help one another out. You'll find Live Chat and request-a-callback available in Help & Contact.

Sorry that my suggestions weren't useful.
I find Ebay's Search to be excellent, and Ebay as a whole to be far and away the best and safest shopping platform of all. The absolute worst by a country mile, and for a whole variety of reasons, is the river. I closed my account there some time ago, as did most folk I know, and will never open another.

I was obliquely referring to the second longest river on the planet, which has the same name as the selling platform you referred to earlier and which you're leaving Ebay for.
Search is still working brilliantly for me. Have you contacted Ebay yet, as I suggested...? If you request a callback, they're normally able to do just that within a few minutes.
