Scammed and stuck for help

I recently purchased 2 sun loungers from ebay for around 43 quid and paid by PayPal. Next day I had an e mail from eBay stating the seller had been hacked and the item was withdrawn and the transaction cancelled. yet the money left my account.  in the resolution centre it says I have not paid but my bank statement says otherwise.where do I go next.thanks for any advice provided
