Not fit for purpose

I bought my son a bike on ebay, paid £26 for it to be delivered.  The bike has lots of things wrong with and is not safe to ride.  I have emailed the seller, no response.  If I open up a return, will I have to pay for the courier to take it back?

So long as you open the CORRECT CASE. Must be Not As Described. You will probably have to get ebay involved to get a suitable return label, as the standard label is only for about 2kg.

Not if it was listed as delivery rather than collection only.  The seller would have to pay for return.
