Hi, made purchase yesterday evening. PayPal payment not gone through, and I have tried to contact the seller to ask when the items will be posted as they are for my sons birthday end of June. No reply, so I looked at reviews and recent reviews aren't good - no reply from seller etc.
Unable to cancel order so I need to contact the seller, who doesn't reply - so what do I do?
You should be able to cancel the payment, have you looked.
Better to get money back quickly than having to wait as purchase will not arrive.
It seems that the seller has put the wrong PayPal email address on the listing, or it contains a typo. That means your payment will be floating around in the ether with nowhere to go, and the seller won't therefore receive it and so won't be shipping the item.
Log into your PayPal account. Do you see the option to cancel the payment...? If so, do that now. If not, open an Unpaid Item case 2 full days after the last delivery estimate on the order, and follow the instructions within the case to get your money back.
But do give the seller time to respond - you only ordered yesterday evening after all.
In future, read a seller's feedback before you buy. It's there so that buyer's can make an informed buying decision.
The estimate delivery date is on every order. Go to your Purchase History page to see the transaction details.
Buyers can't cancel orders, for obvious reasons - only sellers can cancel orders.

The item won't be posted if the payment hasn't gone through!
