Hi I ordered items on 2nd April and was given a delivery estimate of 6th April. The item dd not arrive then and I contacted the seller and received an explanation that the post office was priorising medical deliveries and therefore my parcel would possibly take up to 10 days, even though it was first class, I foolishlly closed the resolution thing. But I have been emailing the seller since Wednesday 8th April asking for the tracking no so I can track the parcel, but she is not responding.
What are my options now? I have only used Ebay once before and had no problems.
Thank you for reading my post.
You were conned into closing that case early before it was fully resolved, another cannot be opened with eBay. Post Offices are certainly not prioritsing medical items being posted first, out of the hundreds of thoussands of items for them to deal with, they have no clue what is inside!
You have to open a case now with Paypal. Log into your PP account, and on the left select Resolve a Problem, open a case for item not received. Escalate after 2 days but before 20.
Do not close this one on any other excuse the seller offers, it is your last chance for a refund, and do not forget to escalate.
You should have kept the case open. Of course there can be delays at the moment, but you still have the back up of opening a case with Paypal for Not Received.
Tracking is for the benefit of the seller, asthe buyer you will be the first to know when received.
