HI, If I buy a horse trailer and pay for it with cash on collection, am I covered incase the trailer is faulty? Should I take someone with me to check it over before I bid or should I take someone with me to check it over when I collect it and before I hand over the cash? Thanks, hope someone can help me asap

Inspection is the best way to buy any Vehicle but take someone with you to check the trailer thoroughly to make sure that it is roadworthy ... only if satisfactory should you hand over the Cash and take it away. There is no Payment protection offered for Vehicles, so ... Not as described/unsuitable, then you can walk away with cash still in your pocket and agree a mutual cancellation to allow the Seller to recover FVF selling fees here >
