I received a message with suspect images

I got a refund from a seller as the item had not arrived. A few weeks later I got a message telling me my item had been posted (I hadn't purchased anything else). With the message came two images, like lazily mocked up invoices. I did take a look in my ebay messages, but I regretted doing so and scanned my laptop afterwards. Had they arrived from anywhere but ebay I would have deleted them as a possible source of malware. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am too dull to know if this has provided the image for others to view. If you need to look you can give me some pointers. The other image has my home address so I am loathe to provide it. Please don't think that I am judging the seller, it is just that the message was curious, concerning, and I wanted to reach out to see if this was a known scam or at least a known occurence. Once again, thanks for your help, and also your patience.

How do I post an image? Also, this is the kind of help I was hoping for. Have other people come across this kind of thing? Do i need to worry?

i`ve just clicked the link and the photo is so small, you can`t see anything at all.
i would`nt worry about it, the item did`nt arrive and you were refunded, so just delete anything the seller sends. if by any chance the item does arrive and your happy with it, you may wish to contact the seller on how you can pay for it again, or if you`ve bought another one, ask them to cover postage so you can return it 🙂

Just for information's sake, the images, when clicked on in ebay's message folder are normal size.
I reported it to ebay.
Also, I have just started to receive spam telling me my paypal account has been suspended. I am not knowledgeable enough about the workings of online security to discern whether I am being too paranoid or not careful enough. This is the kind of judgement I needed help making.
No help yet but all opinions are much appreciated.

Also, the issue is not with any item, it is with the suspect images that came to me in a message from the seller. I probably didn't explain fully in my original post.

Fake, don`t click any links, open your paypal account and check there. Genuine paypal messages refer to you by name, if it doesn`t, just delete it.

Seller may have made mistake but I cannot see any point in sending you anything. You have been refunded and do not owe him anything.
