I just bought a DVD and it is clearly a copy. What can I do next?

Seller has just contacted me and says it is a sealed DVD and was an import. The DVD is a DVD-RW disc. No logo's on the disc at all or holograms, nothing.

doesn't matter what the sellers says, just open a case

When I go to the resolution centre there is the "I received an item that does not match the seller's description" option and when I click on that it asks which item I want to return. I'm not returning a pirated DVD copy to anyone so that they can re-sell it to some other unsuspecting buyer.

you have to return it if you want a refund, that's how it works on ebay.

That is terrible. That's like finding out you've bought stolen goods and having to return it to the burglar. That doesn't sound right to me. Must be another way forward as I'm not returning it to the seller to con someone else with it.

just run something sharp over the disc so it won`t play and won`t be resold 🙂
