I have to return an item and the address is wrong on the return label. There's no house number

I have to return an item and the address is wrong on the return label. There's no house number just the road/ cresent and postcode.

The seller is not responding.

How can delivery be attempted? Will I lose my refund?

Hello is there a house name? If not try googling the road name as it maybe a tiny road in a village so numbers are not needed. I think royal mail has an address checker on its website too so you can see if you have the full address.

No, you won't lose your refund. You are required to return to the address on the postage label Ebay supplies, and no other.  You must not ship to any other address the seller may supply (unless it's just to add a house number). Tracking only has to prove attempted delivery, not actual delivery. So if the seller doesn't supply you with a house number before the date you're required to post by, just post as is. The area postie may know where to deliver without a full address, but if not, that's not your concern.  Sellers are expected to ensure their return addresses are accurate and kept up to date.  If they don't, they, not you, suffer the consequences.
