I have returned a faulty item seller is in china

The seller stated he can not supply a return label and I am to pay the postage which is £15 tracked how do i ensure he pays this and not just the original postage

If an item is faulty, you go to the resolution Centre (link at the bottom of every page) and open  an Item Not as Described case.

The seller provides a return label, you do not pay the return postage. Read up on the eBay money back guarantee, it is on every listing

Thanks for answer the seller has said he cannot supply a return label which ebay have accepted as true, ebay says I must pay for the tracked return and ask the seller to repay me, as this seller has given me the runaround since I first opened a case I suspect not only will I not get my original money back but paying out another £15 will be dead money

That is a risk you take when you buy an item and it comes from overseas. Ebay cannot make the seller pay the return postage.

i`m not sure if the other guys know, but PayPal run a scheme at the moment where you can return an item and get the return postage refunded once it`s returned, HOWEVER, i`m not sure if this applies to overseas returns.
i doubt very much indeed you`ll get the £15 back. If you decide to leave a neg, i`d be willing to bet you`ll get a message afterwards saying that if you remove the neg, they refund the £15 or replace the item, whichever is cheaper, but they`ll insist on removing the neg first, so don`t fall for it, say you will do it once the refund is made, not before 🙂
