I have an error 99 when going to checkout and my Desktop PC says check account status.

i I have been using ebay for years nad I have tried to make a purchase and on my phone an error 99 comes up and onmy Desktop PC it says to check my account status. Ive never had this poblem before and dont know how to check my status or clear the error.

Can anyone please help

Usually suggests a problem with your PayPal account settings ... use Wallet/Cog icons to check there ... Card close to expiry ... accounts still linked .... does the item post/ship to the UK ... still using Internet Explorer etc. ? ... Computer use advised to make changes and try another browser eg. Edge/Chrome/Firefox ... If you use a pop up blocker, disable it temporarily for checkout and try the payment again >
