The fabric was nice;I washed it per instructions, but the smell diminished only a bit. I've had to keep washing it and hanging it on the line to get rid of the smell and it needs, proabably, a couple more washes. I gave neutral feedback saying the fabric smelt strongly. There was an exchange of emails with the seller; her suggestions weren't working for me and she offered a partial refund, which I declined as I was still trying to get rid of the smell. This is gradually diminishing and I'll keep on with the washing and hanging in a breeze when weather permits and I told her that.
She has now, unasked, refunded the cost in full and asked me to change my feedback as it will "damage her business". I told her I can't change it and, anyway, in the circumstances, think it's fair. I have been able to add to it to say the smell is diminishing and the seller has issued an unsolicited refund. I also sent her a link to the seller's page which explains what she has to do in future if she wants feedback changed.
She has now followed the procedure and I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to be mean and certainly don't want to damage her business, but I understand that feedback is to enable other buyers to decide whether or not to buy an item. I am not comfortable therefore in changing it to positive; I'd far sooner she'd kept her money as I'm not sending the fabric back to India - I can find a home for via other means if I can't keep it. What do people think please?

Looking at her feedback and detailed seller ratings, this is obviously a good seller who works hard to please her buyers. She even refunded you without insisting that you return the items, which she didn't have to do.
Why not give her a break by asking her to send you a feedback revision request? She has to send the request within 30 days of receiving your feedback, and you will have 10 days to revise it.
