How do I claim disabled VAT relief on Ebay?

How do I claim disabled VAT relief on Ebay for goods I purchase to help with my disability? With other sellers including Amazon I provide a form and the VAT is taken off the price and the seller/shop hands the form to HMRC. There isnt another way to do it

As far as I know, that's entirely between you and the seller to sort out. Ebay isn't like Amazon because Ebay isn't just for business sellers, and Ebay (unlike Amazon) doesn't sell anything. But do a forum search - other folk have probably asked this question and received answers.

@rusticrye  is totally right. It is not a service that is generally available on eBay.

Contrary to popular belief it is not everything that is eligible in any event

VAT Exemption only applies to certain items; these are items which have been designed to be used by someone who is chronically sick or disabled. Examples of such products are Bath Aids, Bath Lifts, Mobility Aids, Toileting Aids, Wheelchairs, Magnifying Glasses & many more daily living aids and care equipment.
