Hi, won an item that I had had 2 offers declined on - won item for less than offers. now seller has cancelled??  Is this allowed, does not seem right - clearly wanted to get more for the item but surely that is a risk we take selling on ebay.. Advice welcome. Thanks .

leave feedback to reflect your experience - seller refused to honour transaction and refuse a cancellation request if you get one.

Just to add to the correct advice given,  should they send you a cancellation request citing ....  'buyer requests to cancel'  this would refund their seller fee ,  and not give them a defect on their account.

You could then,  if you wished,    contact eBay CS from the help & Contact tab above,  deny this was the case,   and the seller fee and defect is thus applied.

Not good selling practice and not a very clever seller if he turns down offers, he should have realised that a bid would win.

As said leave Negative Feedback and Mark Down stars. Decline any request to cancel.

Seller will still have to pay the 10% Selling Fee so not a very clever way not to sell, but still pay fees.

I've had this happen to me a few times. But when i leave negative feedback it gets removed
