Hi - First time here so not sure of group etc.

Would like some inforamtion on a refund.

I recently had a refund on an item but the monies have not been repaid into my bank account via the visa card used for payment but has for some strange reason ended up showing in PayPal balance. I have attempted - several times - to contact both e-bay and pay pal to resolve this but their automatic non user friendly platforms continually not answer my query. Is there anything I can do to get my money back rather than risk having it sit in the balnce forever. fingers Xd someone can help. Many thanks Mike

Then the monies haven't fully cleared yet. When clicking into the payment it'll say pending? Correct?

Of course there is, you simply use the Withdraw function and transfer to your bank account. TRANSFER MONEY just under the balance.

It is all on the Paypal page you don't have to speak to anyone. You must explore what the various links onthe pageare for.

Many thanks - still havea problem as when on that page balance shows as £0 but monies still not in my bank and on activity still showing £39.50 in PayPal balance

it's not as straight forward as your reply suggests. I have exactly the same problem as peawee44. You buy something, you return it, it shows as 'you have received a refund' when you log into Paypal. Correct - so far. The 'activity' page DOES show a refund amount highlighted in green. What it doesn't do is actually add it to your Paypal balance or return it to the payment source (in my case, my bank account). As it doesn't show up in your Paypal balance - you cannot possibly transfer money because it isn't there in the first place. It's happened to me several times now and I've never been able to get it back (£17.98, £24.46, £2.93) and as Paypal insists it's been refunded they won't help further. I'm now dealing with another amount for a damaged item I returned and even though the seller has got it back (and it's showing as refunded) Paypal won't even reply to my messages.
