Hi all. Has anybody else had issues when contacting a seller?

Hi all. Has anybody else had issues when contacting a seller? I spoke to the help team via telephone and she said that some messages are not getting through and thet eBay knew about the issue and were looking in to it.

I have nessaged a seller 3 time recently, and messaged them by using a different item just to make sure, and no response?

If messages don't work, have you tried the email address now provided, a rather long ebay generated email address, but obviously for use if needed.

Why do you need to contact a seller, unless for a Collection Item and you need the address, there should be no need to contact a seller? All problems are dealt with throught the Resolution Centre, sellers cannot ignore those without penalties, and if they don't deal with it then you can escalate (ask ebay to step in).

Thank you, it was only to ask if the seller could make something for me similar to items he has listed. In this case a silver mens bracelet. It is not about 'a problem'.

If you include any contact details in your message, eBay will block it as they see that as possibly the start of an off-eBay deal which they are understandably are not happy with.
