I recently purchased items as I went through the payment process I selected click and collect I also selected the next day delivery option which i paid for, as I completed my transaction i noticed the delivery preference went to Royal Mail 48 although the final price included the next day delivery amount. I contacted the buyer to comfirm that I had got it right and they confirmed that I had but my invoice was still showing Royal mail delivery..
What struck me odd is that I didn't get the usual email from ebay confirming my purchase or the usual "wait for my reference number before pick up" the next day a tracking reference appeared on my invoice saying the item had been dispatched, I waited till Saturday ( it should have been delivered on Friday and not having received notification to my phone or email address) I then entered the tracking number in the carriers website only to be told reference not valid, I waited till Monday and still no delivery I contacted the buyer only to be told that according to the records it has been delivered and signed for and that i should check my delivery address !!!!! my reply was no YOU tell me where you sent it,
I do not beleive they have sent the Item at all, if I had asked for a home delivery and it came by royal mail/carrier they would not have left it with neighbours because of the current situation if you are not in and you dont acknowledge delivery they leave a card (the lady was in all day she is disabled so does not go out) and the shop I did ask for it to be delivered to is where I work !.I then went to the resolution center entered the item number is saying that item is invalid so now what do I do? I buy a lot on Ebay and use all sorts of delivery options and am proud of all the sellers I use. advice would be greatly appreciated
Was your Purchase a Covid 19 Related Product? As EBay have been Removing them from Private Accounts. Only EBay Approved Business Sellers, can list the Masks, Sanitizers etc.
You need to open an Item Not Received Case with PayPal. Find Resolve a Problem down the left hand side of the page. The system may try to send you back to Ebay. Just ignore the prompt and scroll down to the PayPal Resolution Centre.
Escalate the Case after 2 days but before 20. Add in the Notes that EBay have Removed the Listings.
You open a case for item not received in PayPal.
