Have Australian eBay a/c, can I use with eBay UK?

Hello,

I have an Australian eBay account & Paypal account.

1. Can I use my Aust. eBay account to buy items from eBay UK or do I need to register a new account with eBay UK? 

2. Can I use the Aust PayPal account to pay for eBay UK purchases?

3. Purchases from eBay UK will be posted to Cyprus where I am stuck for the next few months due to Covid-19.  Would my current location for posting be a problem?

You should be able to use your Australian account to buy items from eBay UK.  My own eBay account is a UK account, but I've had instances in the past whereby I've logged onto www.ebay.com, which is the USA version of the site, in order to buy items due to site glitches making it impossible to purchase items on the UK site, both national and international.

Your Australian PayPal account should be fine to pay for purchases made on eBay UK.  So long as there is enough money in your PayPal account, or you have got it linked up to a bank or building society so that the payment can be taken from that funding source if your PayPal account is empty, then the fact that your PayPal account is Australian should not in itself present any problems.

You can purchase items on any of eBay's websites anywhere in the world and have them posted to Cyprus so long as the seller is prepared to post the item(s) that you want to buy out to Cyprus for you.  Some sellers do not post to international destinations, so that could be a potential problem.  Other than that I can't see that it would be.  Just make sure that you log into your PayPal account and add your Cyprus address to the list of addresses to post items to - that way, if you purchase an item then when you come to make payment just go to the bit where you can select a different address and then select the Cyprus address as the address to post the item to.  Sellers have to post the item to the postal address that is supplied to them by PayPal, so if you choose the Cyprus address at checkout then PayPal will send your sellers an e-mail notification with the Cyprus address on it and you should receive your items there so long as the seller in question has not included Cyprus as a destination to which he/she refuses to post items to.

Just one problem I can see, is POSTAGE. When you buy ebay will invoice with postage to Australia, which will be more than Cyprus.
