Looking to buy a truck off of ebay has anyone had any issues and how did this process work?

Whatever buyer protection applies on eBay.com, read it carefully before buying any motor vehicle on eBay.

In the UK, there is no protection for buyers when buying motor vehicles. There are endless scams, with naive buyers regularly losing thousands of pounds paying for vehicles that don't even exist.

A senior London police officer stated on a TV programme about organised crime that one criminal gang alone had registered "multiple hundreds" of fake accounts on eBay to place fraudulent listings for motor vehicles.

So PLEASE be very careful!

I believe the processes and protections for buying vehicles in the US are very different to in the UK.

Always  give full information when you post to save wasting time.

You purchase through the listing but don't pay anything.

Arrange to go and check out the vehicle and also fully check all relevant documentation, records of ownership etc.

If happy pay and drive away.
