Done an easyreturn and posted the item but now see no record of it?

Purchased a faulty camera and was offered the easy return proceedure. I took this up and duly printed a return label and posted the item. I'm concerned that there appears to be no record on eBay of this return and I've had no notification either. Is this normal?

It's normal not to receive anymore notifications until the item is received by eBays partner, your next email should be "we have received your item and a refund will be processed",now despite saying 2-3 days for refund currently it is taking 2-3 weeks as they are apparently short staffed at the receiving warehouse to book the parcels in and issue the refund.

You should still be able to check the tracking via the label you used and find the status of your case in the Return Summary page with all your return details, from the original email.

I haven't found any information on this. What I don't understand is how it can be a quick return when you don't return to the seller, and what happens when it gets to the Middleman. Who pays the extra postage, does it ever get back to the seller?

It concerns me that at the  address I have seen one of the occupants is Music Magpie, do they end up keeping the good bits and making the refund? and the seller never sees it again.

Never having used it, and as I believe it's still in beta (test phase), I can't say whether it's normal or not.  Unless someone pops along who does know, all I can suggest is that you contact Ebay and ask.  Help & Contact is at top and foot of any page, with Live Chat and request-a-callback available during working hours.
