Click and collect parcel missing

I bought a number of items from a seller and selected click and collect. It is a store I use frequently and have not had any issues before. Royal Mail tracking states the parcel has been delivered but the shop does not have the parcel and I have not received a collection code, the store also has a written list of all parcels to be collected.

Seller says I should contact RM for compensation but their website says the sender is the one who needs to contact them.

Where do I stand?

Seller says I should contact RM for compensation

This would be pointless, as it's tracked as delivered. If it wasn't, this would have been the seller's responsibility anyway.

If the item is delivered, but lost in the store, this is a matter for eBay. You may have to phone customer support for advice (see Help & Contact, top of page).

Good luck! Click and Collect is just one more example of how eBay introduces schemes without thinking them through properly.

You need to contact ebay, explain you haven't received code & store doesn't have item anyway.

Seller has proved delivery, so they won't refund you.
