Can someone tell me what the point is of leaving negative feedback

Around the xmas period I bid for and won an item.

12 days later after giving the seller a chance,I was still waiting,for dispatch.

Raised a INR case.

Then magically received a refund,no apologies no explanation.

So what would you do,forget about it and move on.Or give them a bloody nose(hypothetically speaking of course) and leave appropriate negative feedback.

Anyway,cut a long story short.Neg feedback was left.Yet checked his feedback recently.Yes you've guessed it, EBAY has removed it.

Point is all I get from Ebay is leave feedback...You have feedback to leave..Blah,Blah,Blah.

 What is the point????

Because you must have mentioned ebay or a case in the feback.You cant do that.

For a negative just put total waste of space.

No did not mention case or ebay.
Put something like Item not sent, refunded without explanation.Poor seller.

Saying refund is enough to get it removed.

i`m well aware of Ebays rules about mentioning refunds etc in feedback and yet the one or two justified negs i`ve left over the last year or so still got removed, so i don`t think it matters what you say, if the seller cries enough to ebay, they`ll remove it and is the very reason i no longer leave feedback at all, no matter how good or bad the transaction was.
