Hi I recently bought a virtual DJ in for 2021 from eBay it says it will arrive by third of March but on the description it says it is a digital instant download I contacted the seller but he hasn't got back to me do I wait till the 3rd of March

Such items are not covered by eBay's buyer protection but you might be covered by a PayPal case as they cover some digitally delivered items.
