How do I look at items sold in Europe?
If you can't find any items located in europe when you search for the type of item you are looking for then perhaps it would be worthwhile logging off of eBay UK and logging into one of eBay's other websites that was set up for one of the countries who are currently still in the european union - for example, www.ebay.fr, which is the French version of the site, or www.ebay.es, which is the Spanish version of the site. Having said that, although it will show you listings primarily from those countries, and possibly from other countries within the european union, unless you are fluent in that country's language it may prove to be somewhat difficult to work out what the text says in English, although if you do find an item you are interested in when searching in this manner make a note of the item listing number and then log back into eBay UK and use the Advanced Search to run a search on that specific item listing number. If it pulls up the listing then you should be able to see the item description in English, along with the item price shown in Pounds Sterling. However, don't forget that if you do commit to purchasing an item that's being sold by a seller based outside of the United Kingdom then due to the new post-Brexit rules which came into force on Friday 1st January 2021 you will have to pay 20% VAT on all items purchased from a seller registered outside of the United Kingdom, regardless of whether the goods are already in the United Kingdom or will need to be posted to you from overseas.
