An item I ordered has not arrived, disappeared from my purchase history

An order I made has not been delivered, all the details are on my paypal account, but it has disappeared from my purchase history on ebay, so I can't track it through ebay, what can I do?   Its not possible to contact ebay.

Ebay transactions don't disappear. It will definitely be on your Purchase History page. Check to see if you accidentally hit the HIDE option. And check too that it hasn't moved to the bottom of the page - scroll all the way down.

Thank you rusticrye, I have had an online chat with ebay, they tell me I have a 'guest' account .... news to me. and I can't access it because this 'guest account' does not recognise my password (although ebay said it should). I don't understand the explanation that I was not fully signed in, so a guest account was created? Surely If I am signed in I am IN not signed OUT, how can I be halfway in or out, I was not doing the hokey cokey!! This guest account had access my paypal but I can't access the guest account .. weird?
