policy violation??

I can see similar questions have been asked, but I thought I'd try anyway. I'm trying to list an item but it keeps being blocked for policy violations (sharing contact details I think). All I have added is a short item description with no links or contact details, and I think the system adds contact details for business sellers in any case.

I've tried changing the text and appealing, but still the same. The AI chat and phone support is hopeless and it seems no humans work in eBay customer service any more. Wondering if anyone can suggest anything?

Thanks

Don't mention anything remotely to do with viewing the item or making offers.   Stick to basic description only.   It might help to log out, clear cookies and start a new listing from scratch.

If you still have problems you can contact ebay by requesting a callback on here:

Looking at the items you already have for sale is it possible that a model number is being misinterpreted by eBay as being a telephone number or a postcode?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Are you getting specific messages?

If so, what exactly do they say?

If you want more specific help with it, then you will need to post the text I'm afraid.  Though you can of course block out pertinent details if you want to.

policy violation??

Thanks all. I managed to get through on the phone, and the problem was a .com in the item title (that the system had inserted).
