As long as you have GSP and WS13 8UR on the label, every courier in to country will know where it is going.

Yes - and a word to the wise - NEVER, EVER use ebay packaging on a parcel that is going to WS13 but NOT GSP. They just take it there anyway... 😄

Is it possible to get an example of where you're getting the error and a screenshot if possible. Also what platform are you getting the error, is it packlink for example?
Thanks,
Dave

Sorry, another glitch I am having is that eBay forums won't accept Apple screenshots. I think I posted a moan about that too. The boards won't accept .jpeg photos only .jpg ones. Even when I save my .jpegs as .jpgs, eBay won't accept them because they have been edited!

First Ive heard of that too unfortunately. Ill raise it with the forum providers.
Where were you trying to purchase the labels when you get the warning? I'll see if we can duplicate it on this side.
Thanks
Dave

Yes,same think still happening it was when I was purchasing a label for an item going to the United States so the address I saw was the Global Hub’s address in England which had two “errors”, for goodness sake.
what is the correct post code then?
thank you

This has happened for years, the postage label page will insist that an address is wrong if the town is listed after the village in the customer's address. I also have the warning when sending to Isle of Man, it insists that the town goes AFTER the "Isle of Man" part.

Hi Dave, how comes you don't comment on the thread regarding business sellers operating as private sellers? Your feedback on that thread would be appreciated 😉

The point is that Ebay and or the parcel company say that unless the address is correct their protection doesn't apply. If the GSP's hub address is wrong and if the seller just goes with the uncorrected address, they are leaving themselves open to not having any insurance on their parcel. I sent three items via the GSP hub today., I had to correct the address on each one individually.

Dave, this would be helpful if anything had actually happened since you sent your request in.
It is now seven months after your above message, yet the problem (two errors in the GSP address every time) is still there.

.... it is now Nov 22 2024 and it is still happening, but not regularly as I sent another Parcel to the same address a couple of days ago. It comes up when you want to create a label for an international sale.

hello I am now getting this error myself
There are problems with this order that may prevent us from generating a shipping label. Please review the following:
Warning: the shipping address City (LICHFIELD) may be wrong. We think it should be Lichfield, Fradley Park. Go and edit
Warning: the shipping address Postal code (WS13 8UR) may be wrong. We think it should be WS13 8SU. Go and edit

Hi ive got this same message how did you resolve it ?

Just ignore the warning if you are sending it to the hub. Every courier in the country knows the address and the postcode is right.
