Vat invoice for purchases made

I am sure I used to be able to print a VAT invoice from my purchase history?

All I get is a printer friendly option which gives me an order receipt/confirmation.

This is obviously no good for accounting purposes.

Is this a glitch and have we got to revert to bombarding sellers with annoying emails requesting one?

That's not really something that you have ever been able to do on Ebay, as you are buying from different sources and not Ebay.

It has however been standard on Amazon for quite a long time.

There is a new invoicing service that has just been launched, but I don't think that many sellers are actually signed up to it yet.

So yes, you are going to have to ask the seller you bought from.
