Upgrade to business account but I am?

Got a message pop up as a banner in the app this morning telling me to upgrade to a business account before the 9th September or my account will be restricted

Thing is.... I am already a business account? When I go into personal details that's not there only 'business detaisl' so not sure how I can upgrade an account that's been a business account for ages

@madhouse_comics  I had the same, before I logged in, then it disappeared. 
Been a business account for over 15 years.

Yes I have the same banner. I already have a business account and have not received any email asking me to upgrade. The banner implies I have been asked to upgrade or face restrictions on the 9th. When I click through I obviously can't upgrade because it already a business account.

Is it on the desktop version?  Mine was only in app. 
Try logging out and in again in app.
I do have a little sympathy for CS today, this will be awfully messy.

Myself, my partner and my dad all had the same banner this morning on the app, but it's not currently there when I log in.  None of us are close to business levels and none of us have had any email communication about it either.  Relieved it seems to be recognised by other sellers and not just us.

It's a bug. The ones that were told to convert to a business account in August and had the email with the free store and 0 fees offer for upgrading, still have to upgrade. 

The recent thing over the past few days was where eBay changed the dates as it was supposed to be they have to upgrade by the 4th. eBay pushed it back to the 9th and when they released that new banner, it showed up for a lot of people who are either already a business seller or who don't have to upgrade account. 

So unless you had an email in August with the free shop offer to upgrade by the 4th, the banner was there in error and it will disappear if it hasn't already. 

As a side note, there's no such thing as not being close to "business levels". Anyone who buys, makes, acquires items for the sole purpose of selling them for profit, whether it's 1, 10 or 100 items is considered a business seller. Anyone just having a clearout of unwanted items is never considered a business seller.
