I know I often say you-tube product videos cost nothing but to create.
But maybe if you sell new products you can think of an extra item to
include free of charge. Call this your advertising costs.
In my videos I often say at the end to reply to the order confirmation
email (website) you watch the channel and I`ll put a freebie in with
the order. Don`t even need to ask for anything, as I will know.
This happens on a weekly basis for me.
Here is an example from an order I got yesterday.
"I’ve spent some time this evening watching your reviews on You Tube and this is what swayed me to choose the (my product)
I know it’s a cheeky request, but if you have any freebies available, would you be able to include something with my order please?"
A freebie could be something as simple as a microfibre cleaning cloth from a £1 shop.
In my case its free products with RRPs of around £7.95 - £30+ depending on value.
2nd tip. Don`t be afraid to ask your suppliers for freebies. Convince them it helps
get them more sales. Believe me I know.
BTW the fact that buyers ask for freebies is a great thing for a 2nd reason.
I mention the freebie at the end of the video. This shows buyers watch to
the end (unless they skip parts)
Good luck
