Luckily we use GSP for all orders going overseas for our ebay sales but obviously not for our direct site sales.
Just got the notification from Royal Mail that as of Aug 29th you wont be able to send into the USA using DAP (delivered at place where the postal companies collect the import duty/tax from the buyer prior to delivery).
If you do then it will be rejected.
We all knew about the de minimis being withdrawn but this extra bit is a shock to the system.

This is the concerning bit. I have no idea if there'll be a grace period for a few weeks, but there'll be one hell of a backlog of post for sure & not enough workers to deal with it all.

You can pretty much guarantee that if they come after you for misdeclaring your items, your postmaster won't be the one taking the blame.

As everything sent will attract a minimum tariff of $80 per item plus 10% of the value of the goods I don't think you'll have many buyers from across the pond (which is the whole point anyway).
Actually...scrub that; it's the tariff applicable to the country of origin or the per item "specific duty". As long as the CN22/CN23 is completed correctly it is only the applicable tariff rate for the country of origin that will be applied.

Did an On line International Label to Spain yesterday for a personal letter under 20g & it insisted I did a CN22 stating Nil value with description Letter/Documents.
Dropped off at PO who checked there was a CN22 so I don't what your PO are doing but seems like they are behind the times.

I dont use printed labels from Ebay, I just write out the addresses myself on the envelopes then post them

I'd love to know what it is other than delivering by hand in person 😉

A very good video has been posted here that explains it well and includes real world examples
