Hi,
Appreciate I'm not a major/experienced business seller. I just don't understand the logic of the page layout for listings - in particular, the size of the section for "Item description from the seller".
On most listings, you have a huge section for images/purchase options, then again featuring other sellers' items (!), but then the actual section for the seller's description is relatively tiny, restricted in height so that you usually need to scroll it. Many business sellers try to make more of this section than just having text but the effect is kind of lost when it doesn't even fill half of your screen (on desktop anyway).
But then some listings don't have this problem e.g. with this shop: newandusedlaptops4u (sorry to call you out, just an example!). Is this a feature of having a higher level shop subscription? Or am I doing something wrong?
But then even with basic shop subscriptions, what's the point of making this section so small; isn't this the most important part of the page? It just makes these listings seem less professional. Or is it just me?
It's the same result using different browsers.
I don't understand why sections such as item specifics and business seller info aren't just condensed into 1-2 lines and expandable as required, with more space/focus given to the actual product info? Sure, this could scroll past a certain point, but at least let it fill the screen if the content is there?
Best regards...
