Speaking to our local Delivery Depot manager and asked if certain people were off on holiday to be told no that they quit. They have had mass resignations putting pressure on the others which is leading to more resignations. I was told nearly a third had gone since April

My INRs are up massively. I rarely get any, maybe a couple a month. Over the last 2 days alone I've had four.
But eBay just say it's all working as intended as business as usual.

I think it was on here that I mentioned if you use an RM locker for untracked items, the acceptance scan will register on the eBay tracking so it offers some extra protection against defects as eBay can see the item was posted.
Well nearly 24 hours after my last one was taken to a locker the acceptance scan still isn't showing on eBay. I’m not sure if it is a one off but it isn’t looking great. If anyone else has used a locker or got a home collection in the past day for an untracked LL / parcel would you mind confirming whether the eBay tracking is picking that scan up.

I changed Amazon and Ebay from 4-7 day delivery expectation to 5-10 days and no problems.
Forgot to change that on etsy (as no one ever complains about anything there) and already had 3 people saying item not delivered yet. So looks like 4-10 days delivery expectation for 2nd class Large Letter is the best time scale for now.

I put LL to 5 days handling and letters to 6 day handling on eBay. Might have to extend that. It doesn't do much for the ridiculous EDDs but at least it stalls INRs a bit.

I am also on 5 days handling time for RM 2nd Class Letters and Large letters even though I post out orders between 3 hours and 12 hours of receiving the order.

INR's on ebay are still very low for me. 75% of my items go by 2nd class letter the rest by Royal Mail 48 with the occasional tracked item.
It is only really Amazon I have issues with INR's but that is more to do with the way they message customers about lost items than any issues with missing post.

Don't you find that extended delivery times mean less sales? Whenever I increase my delivery times it always result in sales nosediving. It is just not worth doing for me.

I agree and mentioned that in another of my comments. I was advised to extend them by customer services but it doesn't make a difference anyway as the EDDs are mainly based on your performance. When I extended my dispatch time the EDDs were showing expected delivery BEFORE the dispatch date so it does not work.
I had an INR and ebay refund within 5 working days from an item sold. Also got negative feedback from the buyer that I advised her to wait a few more days for her order. The most ebay could do at this stage is extend the time by which INRs can be opened. Like at least 10 days after the date of order.

Anyone got any update from Ebay on this? Managed to have 3 bad feedback within 2 days. Lost top rated seller rate and late deliver went from average 1% to over 6% recently due to the misleading EDD. Our cut off time is 2 pm and Thursday afternoon is the worst. We use RM48 and it shows Friday - Saturday as delivery date when we only will dispatch on Friday. Called Ebay few times only to waste my time...

You won't get any update because according to Dave's pinned post, it's not actually started yet, it makes no difference to EDD and large letters are not included. As far as eBay are concerned it's all working as intended.

I am sure you know already Dave's post is not telling the entire truth, although its the official line royal mail have been running this service nationally for months . As confirmed by my local postman after a lengthy chat with him.

Your very lucky. Our payouts are on hold for 30 days moving forward due to our increased INRs because of the EDDs and 2nd class farce.

We received the email about the changes from Royal Mail in May and it started on 07/07... We had EDD issues way before this date too but now it's just pretty bad and other than losing buyers not seeing any benefit of lying on the delivery date.

Wow. That's not good. We had a message from Ebay as the late delivery rate increased, they will add 2 days to ETA. I would be happy with that but unfortunately this isn't happened. We started sending messages with the accurate delivery time but this doesn't help much either.

We have extended our EDDs and sales have dropped off a cliff unfortunately. Its going to be tough going forward and not sure if its surviveable for us sadly.

It's pretty difficult anyway and people are generally much less patience with online orders. Not many tolerates and much less understands what's happening and that even if you try your very best there are still things out of our control. Sales on Ebay recently very unpredictable for us too and paying crazy money for the adverts. Most of the time we working to make money for Ebay and hoping to earn something. Lately we spend so much time explaining delays and customer service just useless so we looking to reduce the presence here and focus on other parts of our business.
